Why doesn’t rest work when you're burnt out?

Burnout, chronic stress, and living in survival mode all point to the same thing:
your nervous system is dysregulated.

When that happens, calm doesn’t feel safe.​ So even when you slow down, your body stays alert.


You struggle to rest, meditate, or switch off, not because you’re bad at it, but because your system is still scanning for danger.

When you’re stuck here, everything is filtered through stress. Small things feel heavy. Rest feels uncomfortable. Joy feels out of reach.

Regulation changes that.

By gently retraining your nervous system to recognise safety again, you start to find more ease, more breathing room, and more moments of calm that actually last.

The 8-week experience

Joy Unplugged is a structured mix of weekly guidance, daily support, and gentle practices designed to help your body feel safe enough to rest again.

Over 8 weeks, you’ll move from survival mode into regulation through weekly themes that gently retrain your nervous system.

 

You’ll learn how to regulate your nervous system, rest without guilt, and live from joy instead of stress.

It’s not a wellness bootcamp. It’s a return to yourself.

  • Weekly guided lessons — small, actionable steps to calm your nervous system and reclaim energy.

  • Daily one-to-one support throughout the program, so you're never alone.

  • Live group Campfire sessions — reset, share, and feel held in community.

  • Access to our private community of women doing self-care differently.

  • Lifetime access to the entire program, for revisiting anytime

  • Exclusive access to a growing number of tools and collections to help you navigate regulation in bigger and more impactful ways.

  • Meditation and movement classes to help you shift states, however chaotic life is.
